What is your favorite local fast food place??

Duchess is a local "fast-food" chain found only in Connecticut. Why this place isn't nationwide and in every city in every state is beyond me. This place has almost anything you could want as far as Americanized food goes. They have over 100 menu items to choose from. It truly puts the big chain restaurants to shame. Wendy's is my favourite, but there isn't one near me so I don't get a chance to go there often. McDonald's would be my second favourite. The fast food places I go to the most are A&W and Subway.

I'm not sure Culvers would be local, but I don't think it's nationwide either. They are great for a fast food burger place, though.

Wow. They have locations in 26 states. But none in the Northeast so that's probably why I've never heard of them. But hopefully one day they will come this way!!

Surprised to hear a restaurant does dozens of different items well. Usually, they get bogged down with the variety & it all ends up kind of blah.

So many burger places on the list. I prefer the weird ones like runzas & skyline chili. Culver's is good & all but last time I drove across WI, I picked up a racine kringle & that lasted me the whole ride.

TIL the coney island hot dog is a Detroit thing. From its name, I always figured NY.

According to that link above to the Mashed website, in Nevada it is Don Tortaco Mexican Grill, but I'm not familiar with them--no locations in Reno (it is a Las Vegas based chain).

I don't like any one fast-food place, because there are several I like. I think I just like fast-food restaurants that are clean, quiet, well-staffed, and the food is decent quality.

Don't have one. No fast food chain has a good vegetarian menu, which is why I make so many stops at Taco Bell when traveling. Sure, the food is crap, but they'll give you anything on the menu with beans or potatoes instead of meat.
