Same here, following cataract surgery a few years ago. Before that, I wore glasses or contacts from the time I was in first grade. After the surgery, because my vision improved so much, for the first time in my life, I finally got a drivers license with no "corrective lenses required" restriction. I thought it was so cool.

Had cataract surgery on one eye 4 days ago. Wow, what a world of rediscovery afterwards! Colors are more vibrant, I can once again read fine print on my tv screen. Going to get the other eye done in February and I'm also looking forward to getting that restriction lifted from my DL.😃

Oh, same here. I was amazed at how vibrant colors were after surgery.

LASIK only corrects one type of vision but if you're like me, I need progressive lenses.

I didn't my entire life, but I just turned 31 and now I do. I can still see decently without them. I only put on the glasses when I'm on the computer or watching TV
