🎄How long do you think I can get away with keeping our Christmas tree up before the wife tells me to take it down?[EDIT] It’s down, InquiringMind wins

Some of you may remember last year, here at Kings Towers, my wife and I had a psychological battle of epic royale proportions regarding the Christmas tree: -

More than 20 posters tried to guess the date it would eventually come down and I finally crumbled on February 13th.

Time to place your bets - I'm going for one better and will aim for February 14th (Valentine's Day). Each day can only be allocated to one poster, so bet now to avoid disappointment.

Valentine's Day is perfect! That way, you can say taking down the tree was her Valentine's Day gift and save some money.

But since you already took it, I will say March 31st. I hear the greatest human in history was born on that day.

YEAH FUCK THAT...YOU AREN'T TAKING ANY TREE DOWN ON VALENTINES DAY...HOWEVER THE DAY BEFORE...THAT IS SUPER BELIEVABLE...JUST LIKE LAST YEAR...

YOUR WIFE makes you take down the tree? Are her arms in a cast? lol

In our house, that was strictly my mom's job. She'd take it down the first day we returned to school after Christmas vacation. It was quiet and she could be alone to undecorate and put all the decorations away in their proper boxes in an orderly fashion. She'd NEVER have trusted our dad to do it. Her had no organizational skills whatsoever and the tree lights would've have been one GIANT lump of tangled wires.

I'm guessing Feb 15th if you buy her something nice for Valentine's Day and distract her.

The putting up and taking down operation is a Daddy/Daughter operation which she enjoys. I’m quite meticulous, so everything is easy to find next year (no tangled lights etc).
