Is the new "Avatar Water" movie any good?

The first one is merely an OK 6/10 in my book but I just about liked it. Is the long awaited sequel, by James Cameron nonetheless, any good itself, and is it better or worse?

Crazy idea, but why not post this on the board for Avatar 2? It's not like you're not going to get any traffic there seeing how it's been #1 at the box office the last two weeks.

The film looks great and is technically well crafted, but is nowhere near as good as the first one. It's far too long and lacks the magic and wonder of the original Avatar. There are some spectacular moments along the way, but not enough to justify its bloated runtime. 7/10 is my rating.

I know two people who have seen it and neither liked it. One of them was a fan of the original, the other hadn't seen it.

I'm going to pass.

Yes. I think it's worth checking it out if you enjoyed the original Avatar.

I also wonder - would James Cameron ever return to make a live action movie ever again in his, however short remaining, film career?
