What were you doing in 1989?
Jamming to Milli Vanilli? 🤣
I was pretty much a newborn and have zero recall from my time in the 80s.

Sticking pins in a wax effigy of Margaret Thatcher - she was gone in 1990 so I like to think it worked 😀
share22 and having the time of my life!
share30-31 years old, recently moved to Minneapolis and enjoying my new surroundings.
shareWhen I think of Minneapolis, I think of the "Purple One", Prince. 😎
shareAnd don't forget the Purple People Eaters https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Purple_People_Eaters
(Before my time living there)
I lived not far from Prince's short-lived store. It was small but very cool. https://www.facebook.com/fox9kmsp/videos/looking-back-at-princes-uptown-store/10154150855129138/
I remember well the Purple People Eaters. Alan Page went on to serve as a Justice on the Minnesota Supreme Court. Carl Eller became a drug and alcohol counselor. Also, Jim Marshall, perpetrator of the 66-yard wrong-way run, after which the coach said, "Jim, you did the most interesting thing in this game today." The Vikings did end up winning that game. Gary Larsen rounded out the club.
In 1989 I was busy working and raising three children.
Met the girl I thought would be “The One”. Unfortunately as frequently happens the relationship didn’t work out.
shareWas in my sophomore year at college.
