shareIsn't that more of a team than a club? I guess it depends on the school, but it's pretty much all the same.
I wrestled and took part in a movie club - outside of the high school I was attending.
Also, there was the "computer club" where during lunch/after school everyone in one of the PC labs was playing Quake, Counter-Strike or StarCraft.
it gave me an exemption with all the practice time and so on.
shareYou played Counter-Strike, but not during the class period? Ah, my class was lucky, mostly when we had subs, most if not all my classmates were playing CS. That being said, not much was learned over the course of the year because our teacher was horrible at teaching, in which we resorted to playing games or creating "motion-stop" videos.
*It was a computer programming class, not much was spent on programming. The class turned me off from wanting to continue the subject in college.
Class time in the computer lab was always monitored. Whenever teachers weren't walking around with everyone's screens in view, they had a faculty computer that could see what everyone was doing on the local network.
CS and other games were played during lunch and the free study period. That's about all you need.
Makes sense.
We would have to re-install the game when we wanted to play. I think the computers auto deleted files and programs not saved to personal student folders. It was a fun time, nonetheless.
you were in the movie club? i never would have guessed ππ
shareIt wasn't a club but some of us used to play chess at lunch time. And we also played chess against students from other schools more formally for a while.
