shareTo name a few that immediately
came to mind…
Irreversible (02) French
I Saw The Devil (10) Korean
Sheitan (06) French
A Serbian Film (10) Serbian
Calvaire (04) French
All of these are great thrillers but fairly nasty, I don’t know your tolerance for really nasty, creepy stuff BillHicks.
I’d call them all great thriller or horror movies but I could imagine some people walking out on them.
I own the first two. Highly recommend.
shareI’ll likely rewatch I Saw The Devil at some point because it was non-stop violent insanity but damn, as excellently made and effective as Irreversible was I feel like it’s a movie I’ll never watch again. That one particular scene was a hell of a lot!

Downfall 2005
shareI’ve never been able to find this streaming but it is a fascinating
story that I’d watch.
I’ve read that the actor who played Hitler, Bruno Ganz, really dislikes that his Hitler performance became an internet meme. I feel bad for the guy.
I'm not a fan of war movies and find most Hitler performances eye-roll inducing. I had no problem watching this one, though, because it felt like a movie about real people. I think Ganz is one of the few actors who got Hitler right. Definitely worth a watch.
shareA very good movie. The only thing that I do not like happens at the beginning showing Hitler for a couple of minutes almost as a "nice guy ", but it is a good one.
