What percentage of the front page is TheMan18 taking up right now?
Currently 37%
This isn't intended to be mean, but sometimes it's a lot, and sometimes none. Inquiring minds wanted to know.

I blocked him again today. I'm still not sure if he's just a clever troll. No one's this nonsensical
shareHe will never change - itβs just constant repetition and it gets boring really quickly.
shareHave you noticed itβs the same old stuff time after time? Look at his post history he must have churned out the same reworded post dozens of times!
shareYep! It will never change.
shareThat's what makes me think he might just be trying to piss everyone off, and not be a stupid as he seems.
shareMany people though that about MovieBluff224 as well.
shareAnd Intothenight, and Tick... ok, I'll stop before this gets deleted. Need to protect the golden child at any cost!
shareI don't ignore the trolls. I like the back and forth discourse they create. TheMan18 doesn't create that. It's just ink in the water. ie. him giving us the metal shavings version of his home life, mental sate, and repeating the latest slogans his therapist said to him but with a "?" at the end.
shareI don't ignore the trolls.
Zero π€·ββοΈπ€·ββοΈπ€·ββοΈπ€·ββοΈ
shareThat's only because most people have the sense not to engage anymore, meaning that his tsunami of posts quickly disappear.
shareYeah, no. That's not why. ππ
sharesslssg front page posts up to 31.2% as of 15:27 MTC (Coordinated Mars Time) You're gaining on him!

While I am appreciating the bump in old posts, I feel like I am now taking up too much space on the front page. π€¦πΌββοΈπ€¦πΌββοΈ
That fact didn't escape me.
your posts are not usually pointless, babbling, incoherent nonsense like that man18 AI bot is doing.
we all need to stop replying to it.
once it stops getting replies, it will probably shut off this posting engine for lack of response to redirect effort elsewhere.
Its not as non-sensical as some may think! Also, English is not my first language. And certain matters I know now but felt a bit iffy I wasn't as familiar with before, I have a habit of frequently questioning certain attitudes even if I don't disagree either, but that's alright too.
shareOh God, lol, I guess I have indeed gone down estimation recently, in addition to - running out of ideas as well. :) Oh God. :)
Would have to spend the rest of my lifetime watching "Someone to Die For" (1995) by Clay Borris and ruminating on one of its final scenes that made me cry, and something tells me few if any in next few years will see that movie, its also on YouTube and, however, in Russian language dubbing.
I sort of paid the price here as well as elsewhere for wanting to satisfy emotional curiosity and a desire to be as I please to be only informed that - no, you have to work hard, live, gain common sense, stop the constant wondering and accept life as it is and also other people's non-offensive but blunt viewpoints and approaches, no matter how much of a softie even for a man YOU are - I am talking about myself here. But its not even that serious either, I suppose I just failed, and with me being Russian and English not being my first language either. Oh well.
Not to worry. I guess I will take a one giant break as well, hope you don't become my internet enemies either but then again, I ain't worried or scared of nothing anymore. :)
Means, you're a particularly sneaky version of a Russian troll.
In your AI way you bind the good forces of the western world to weaken them.
You should actually get a NAFO Fella. πΆ
But I'm laughing too hard for that now. π€£βπ€£βπ€£β
... called it.... :D
maybe not actually be russian, but that is a convenient OUT or scapegoat for it
Sorry, I'm currently unsuitable for any further serious conversation.
Hahahahaha...βΊβΊβΊ
Sooooooooooooo, will try to be more serious now. βΊ
Alex aka TheMan18 said he's Russian, that wasn't my idea.
Because of some details I believe him, he's leastwise Russian origin.
Screeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaammmmm, a Russian!!!
A German immediately raises the red flag. π©β
Sorry, wanted to stay serious...ahem.
You got a point there though.
Maybe he's a perfectly built new AI, an Alex-AI or AI-Alex.
Gosh, impossible for me to stay serious.
Need to start in a few and need to leave the giggle-modus.
Otherwise will be joblessly at the end of the day...Phhhhhhhh.
Btw. To Die For (1995) is indeed a good movie, seriously! βΊ
It's SOMEONE TO DIE FOR (1995) I spoke about. "To Die For" (also from 1995) by Gus Van Sant and with Nicole Kidman, though very good yes, is a DIFFERENT movie mate.
I have a bit of a history including it making me cry with the former one though.
And "Someone to Die For" (1995) is a little seen direct to video psychological police thriller directed by Clay Borris (of 1986's "Quiet Cool" game among others) and starring Corbin Bernsen ("The Dentist" (1996) and others) and Ally Walker (Universal Soldier) among others.
It's not a great or even an especially GOOD movie, but it's not without merits and yes it made me cry as well, long story. I own it on video yes VHS πΌ, but, albeit in Russian dubbing, the movie is in English of course, it can be seen on YouTube. π
I knew that my 'confusion' would lure you out from behind the stove.
Say "Hallo" to a sneaky German. βΊ
Will try to get your SOMEONE TO DIE FOR (1995) in german dubbed.
Never heard of it before and it sounds worth watching.
Sorry, don't have much time right now.
You crying Russian reminded me to a good song.
Could become a Russian-German Anthem, yessas.
Menschenfresser - Maneaters
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaFDmwkjuP4
The refrain goes:
And if maneaters cry,
they're horrible sorry for everything.
But they cannot change it.
It's simply a hard time.
The rest of the lyrics you may translate yourself.
Need to leave.
Doswidanja! *wink*
P.S.
Sad movies make me cry also, a family sickness...except our late father.
P.P.S.
Our father tried to hide it, but betimes he had tears in his eyes too.
No worries albeit so far the only full movie version of that available online is in a Russian dubbing. Luckily also, I still have a VHS player and 6 years ago at least I got a copy off amazon. :)
shareI even did a video review of it on YouTube. Lol. :)
By the way, I don't usually cry or get surprised during the movies, and I thought in films these days I've seen it all.
But, the combination of sheer unexpectitude (I know its not a word, but still - as in - "not expecting it") of such a scene to the fact that an attractive and troubled female character managed to confront a male police officer (!) whilst also reminiscing about her tragic past to the incredibly emotional performance from the actress in question and the fact that even without condoning her actions I still felt sorry for her, LITERALLY made me cry. Its up to you of course how you'll react but that's how I felt. Yeah it really did an emotional number on me.
Also, without giving it too much importance or me coming to any, let alone "wrongful", conclusions, it provoked thoughts too. And all for an otherwise average and mostly unremarkable direct to video 90s police thriller.
Oh and sslg, once you watch that film, you'll understand partially what I meant when I questioned once upon a time if "different groups of people should be treated the same or differently for similar deeds" (not to say completely get away with anything of course) although that film was very VAGUE on SPOILERS - what happened to Lydia in it afterwards (at first I wasn't even sure if she died or not), and that's not even taking in "Someone to Die For" (1995)'s ending when we find out WHO killed those cops and why. I don't know if the filmmakers INTENTIONALLY tried to provoke those thoughts and feelings here but, I couldn't help but go with the emotional thought provoking tearful river flow here.
2 TimeTunnel - basically, that film is overall like a direct to video cross-over between "Bad Lieutenant" (1992) and "Fatal Attraction" (1987) and complete with elements of other 90s psychological and police thrillers. That "notorious scene" even reminded me of one similar sequence in Sergio Martino's "Craving Desire" (1993) where Vittor
Vittoria Belvedere's "Sonia" character also confronts her male captive in a similar manner whilst revealing details of her own tragic past, but this scene in the movie went even further on a purely emotional scale.
OK OK folks, sorry if I ALSO became even HERE repetitive, but that's alright too. :)
Alas, you're right.
Didn't find the german dubbed Someone to die for (1995).
Apart of that they needed to change the title into the ingenious
"Macht der Gewalt" (= Might of Violence) π΅βπ«β
This german passion of changing all titles, not only translating them, can really confuse. β»
Oh, nearly bewitched hour...Gute Nacht! π€β
I wouldn't take a break because of this thread. There is a pathology at work here that has nothing to do with you. If you go, the dogpile will just re-form on a new target.
