Glitch in the simulation

So last night, I had a bit of a weird experience. I walked into my bedroom and as I looked up I caught a quick flash of art work on my wall, that I've never seen before, but it was my wall, with my bed , and the same bedside table with my lamp. I know I've never had art on that wall, but for a moment I honestly remember having that painting. It was weird.

We never see "base reality", our brains make a recreation of our world constantly. Because we have to see something, often our brains fill in the missing pieces momentarily.

Example, someone walking toward you, you see them as your friend but as they get closer you can clearly see it's not them. But you think about the mental image you just had and you could make out their face. Your brain just filled in the blanks, because you have to see something.

As for your example, maybe dream brain and conscious brain interacting.

Sometimes I will catch myself falling asleep and dreaming and then become conscious and be surprised that I treated that as a reality with pretend people that I recognize or know.

I've had mysterious experiences like that as well. Like as has been said, I chalk it up to a physical reality of dimensions which we don't quite understand.

What will really floor you is when you walk into an art gallery you've never been in before and you see that same painting hanging on the wall. Trust me, that will happen. Buy it and hang it on your bedroom wall!

Take the blue pill.

Why do you think your are not asleep right now?

;)

Perhaps a glimpse into a parallel universe where not everything is exactly the same.

You were told to stay away from those red pills... 💊

The white ones are OK.

I get this too. You think you see someone, or something out of the corner of your eye. Its creepy, probably the reason a lot of people believe in ghosts:)

reply

what art work was it?

reply

No idea. It wasn't anything famous.
