I was asked by the Admin to change my post but it was one of those situations where you just stand up to the stupidity. They banned me. I just rejoined again with a dozen different usernames.

No I don't hate politics - I just don't care about it. One thing I learned in this life is ultimately you are on your own. To expect a Politician to fix things for you will be an exercise in futility. You have to learn how to run your own show.

I avoid political talk at work and my sweet lovely Woman of 20 years never hears who I vote for nor how I feel about anything political, I don’t even talk to my teenaged kids about any of it, it’s all just opinions and bullshit and as a middle class guy I just figure I’ll have to pay for the clean-up…
Except for this Russian/Ukraine war…My Lady and I keep things very mellow at home but one night right before Jeopardy started ‘The News’ unleashed a bunch of horrors on us about these tough Ukrainians and what they’re dealing with…It’s insane that countries can still attack other countries but here we are anyway
