Movies you wouldn't be caught dead watching... so you make sure no one catches you watching them.

The Twilight Saga. They're all hilariously bad but I've seen them all.

The 50 Shades trilogy. Same reason as above.

Thelma and Louise. Chick flick? More like "that's a sick flick."

reply

Asian Babes Vol. VIII.

reply

Yeah; for old times sake, I'm prone to re-watching Embrace Of The Vampire and Poison Ivy III every now and then

reply

There's no way you don't want people to know about that.

reply

I wouldn’t want to be caught watching it though.

reply

I meant caught with your pants on.

reply

I watched the last movie of Twilight saga (Breaking Dawn Part II) and the first 50 Shades movie as well.

reply

Bad but entertaining bad. I wouldn't watch them again though.

reply

Twilight? Eh, not really. 50 Shades of Grey was okay. A bit too "nothing actually happens" except the kinky sex. The whole movie was just that and nothing else.

It's like as if Basic Instinct was just about the sex, no mystery, no murder, no investigation, nothing. Would rather watch porn instead. At least the plumber has a back story.

reply

Not all the Twilights. Part 2 was hilariously bad and entertaining.

reply

Hilariously bad I agree. But I was not entertained.

reply

Did somebody order pizza?

reply

I watched Mean Girls 2 on a whim the other day.

It was not great.

reply

I saw that one too. It's less than a B-movie.

reply

None.

I don't really care what other people think of my choices when it comes to entertainment. I can admit that something is absolutely terrible, but I can still get a kick out of watching it. I'm not ashamed of that.

reply

It's not necessarily about being terrible . Some people wouldn't want to admit they saw "A Serbian Film" because of the subject matter.

reply

I'm not saying that they have to be horrible movies, I was just using that as an example. I have no issues admitting to watching anything. Including a Serbian Film, Twilight series, or 50 Shades as I've seen all of them.

Giving this a bit more thought, I think there may be certain groups of people that I might not admit to watching movies because of how those friends feel about the writers or directors. I can separate art from the person, so I don't have issues watching a movie like the Ninth Gate (Roman Polanski), the Harry Potter movies (J.K. Rowling), The Usual Suspects (Kevin Spacey) but I might not invite them to a watch party. I wouldn't deny that I watch and enjoy them, but I might want to avoid the fight of how I support TERFs and rapists.

reply

I'm sure there are a few husbands/wives who might want to hide certain movies from their partners.

reply

Lol. Perhaps. Not in my house though.

reply

THE TWILIGHT SAGA IS ACTUALLY DECENT...HAS ITS MOMENTS OF UGH...BUT OVERALL IT IS AN ENTERTAINING SERIES...AND KRISTEN STEWART IS ADORABLE.

I HAVE NOT SEEN NOR DO I PLAN ON SEEING THE 50 SHADES FLICKS...EVER.

THELMA AND LOUISE IS A CLASSIC.

I SHARE EVERYTHING...MOVIES I AM WATCVHING IS THE LEAST OF IT.

reply

Twilight is hilarious bad and entertaining once. After one viewing it's no longer worth it.

reply

AGAIN WE DISAGREE...WONDER IF IT HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOU BEING THE WORST?🙂

reply

The Emperor's New Groove
Heavyweights
The Brady Bunch Movie
Johnny Dangerously

Those are all pretty embarrassing😊

reply

"SHE WANTS THE BRADY'S MAIL, LARRY!"

reply

Johnny Dangerously was great!
Them’s fightin’ words Lady😡

reply

I thoroughly enjoyed "Thelma & Louise". I know it's about female empowerment and it's aimed at women, but I wouldn't consider it a "chick flick" per se. A chick flick is a romantic comedy or a tear-jerking drama.

I think a movie I wouldn't be caught dead watching is "Pee Wee's Big Adventure". But then again I've never seen it.

reply

I neeve really looked at Thelma and Louise as a chick flick like so many other people do. I just look at it as a road movie with two female leads.

reply

Bring It On: It's a chick flick but it's friggin' awesome!

reply

Only saw the first one. It has its moments. Don't care for the sequels.
