Would you watch…

A crossover with characters from iconic movies everyone has seen (Avengers, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Godzilla, King Kong, The Godfather, Lord of the Rings, James Bond, Wizard of Oz, E.T,, Rocky, Jurassic Park and much more) coming together and having adventures with each other? Sort of like Ready Player One in a way. What would you wanna see?

reply

No. It just doesn't work.

reply

I would likely watch it.

reply

But you watch everything, lol.

reply

Guilty as charged. The only thing I won't watch is those Asian Babes movies. I hear they are terrible.

reply

Just give them a try!

reply

The last time I gave a movie a try was that naked aerobics series you recommended and it was not what I expected! I'm still traumatised by it.

reply

Geeez! I got the Arrow Blu-ray release a few months back I love it so much. If I remember correctly your LetterboxD review and rating was quite favorable. You can admit you liked it here. No one is judging. 😀

reply

I admit nothing! I am most certainly not watching it right now and in case you were wondering I am definitely wearing pants!

reply

Asian Babes Vol. VIII is a classic.

reply

Well, I did watch Godzilla vs King Kong. It's lame btw.

What makes this whole vs crossover thing terrible is that no director dares to make one or the other actually win or lose. Both always end up work together to defeat last-minute shoehorned villain out of nowhere.

Batman v Superman. The same thing.

Don't want to watch these bollocks anymore. They're all exactly the same: stupid and a waste of time.

reply

I’d watch it because I like movies and shows and I love those franchises you mentioned…but how does Han Solo react to James Bond and WTH do they both do when Spider-Man swings into the scene while Godzilla attacks Tokyo yet again?!?

Can Rocky Balboa take on Godzilla?
Is Frodo having another bout of self-doubt?? Where is Thor? He should be hammering the daylights out of King Kong AND Godzilla for Pete’s sake, he’s the god of thunder!!!

This story is very kooky but I’d watch every episode👍

reply

Well, Godzilla is part of the Marvel Universe, so you could've pulled that off.

Rights issues would get in the way but a lot of characters are in the public domain. I enjoyed the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and that was a team of literary heroes united to stop a threat to the world. I'd prefer to see characters from similar time periods but a portal could always appear to transport characters to other dimensions or time periods.

No - I think something like that would be ridiculous.

reply

Not if it was meant to be taken seriously, fan fiction is supposed to be free!

But if they had something like a comedy-adventure animated film about a nerd falling into all his favorite imaginary universes, well, I might watch it if it were funny.

reply

Fan fiction. I guess it could be comedic
