i think only 4 + 6 are good in the friday the 13th series.
i like the 2009 remake/reboot/whatever that was, but i wouldn't consider that part of the series really.

Part 2 has one of my favourite final girls. I think Ginny is great. 2, 4, & 6 are my favourites in the series.

but i remember thinking it completely stunk!

if it was available anywhere, i'd watch it tonight, just to prove i hate it now as much as i remember hating it 20 years ago, but i can't find it anywhere.

DESPITE IT'S 2001 RELEASE DATE...THE FILM WAS ENTIRELY CONCEIVED AND FILMED WITHIN THE 90'S AND THEIR AESTHETIC.

A Nightmare on Elm Street - The first is good and the 3rd one is decent.

Jurassic Park - Only the first film is good.

Alien - Although I liked the 4th film at first, upon further viewings, it's a mediocre film. The first two films are great.

JURASSIC PARK FLICKS ARE ALL ENTERTAINING,BUT THIS ONE IS THE CLOSEEST TO ME AGREEING WITH YOU.

ALIEN...DUDE!...ALIEN,ALIENS,AND ALIEN3 ARE ALL CLASSICS...RESSURECTION IS A LOT OF FUN BUT MARRED BY 90S STYLE.

I haven't seen New Nightmare. That's the only one in that series I haven't seen. With the exception of 1 and a decent part 3, the rest are shit.

Jurassic Park 2 is entertaining, but it's still bad. 3 sucks, Jurassic World was better and the sequel to that sucked.

Alien 3 is a borefest and part 4 is just weird all around.

I was only 3 when it came out but would have loved to see it in theatre. The effects still hold up for the most part and I probably would have blown my load in the theatre gazing at the sheer spectacle.

some of the silly, over the top marine talk in the opening section maybe seems a bit daft now to me, but otherwise it is just about a perfect action film.

i'll always give the nod to the first film for being such a great, genuinely frightening horror movie, but they're both terrific.

i kinda have a soft spot for 3, while recognizing it's nowhere close to being in the same ballpark.

& i have a love/hate relationship with prometheus. mostly hate, but i do find it kinda compulsively re-watchable. it's terrible & unbelievably annoying to me yet i also find it very pacey and entertaining. weirdness.
