Long movie series with only one or two good movies

My pick is Resident Evil, the only good one is the first one

Fast and Furious, I liked the first one it was grounded in the car modification scene, now it's like they are written by a 12 year old firing cars into space and jumping them onto planes

I HAVE A SOFT SPOT FOR TOKYO DRIFT AND LUCAS BLACK...BUT THE FIRST FAST AND FURIOUS IS INDEED THE ONLY "GOOD" STAND ALONE FILM IN THE SERIES.

Paranormal Activity. I honestly liked the first one. It was a simple, straight forward haunted house movie. The rest of them tried to tie the story together and the lore changed with each movie. Ugh.

Jaws and Jaws 2. The rest are crap.

The only Child's Play movie I liked was the first one.

First one is the best and the second one is the only decent sequel

2 was almost the same movie as 1 was.
Like Resident Evil, the series has good visual effects and some good scenes but the stories are garbage.
