well, honestly, I think our modern society is all messed up about age anyway. not going to call anything "right" or "wrong", just "is how it is" in that people (kids) are going to have sex when they have sex. stats 55% have sex before age 18, and the other 45% probably want to but are taught guilt or something against their natural instinct. normal human action is why this occurs, not because kids are stupid, or parents didn't raise them right etc etc etc
not saying young marriage is right, but we should take a look at how slanted our society is AWAY from "family". where I could have finished school at 15 and gotten a job (got a job at that age anyway!), but am forced to stay in school until 18, or even longer in college - where I mess around with many drunk women instead of being with the girl I fell in love with earlier in life - before starting life - when I could have had a job, a wife, and a child to love - and FOCUS on that, instead of being indoctrinated to be in a rat race of chasing money until I die.... I think our system is unforgiving and wrong, and against our own human nature, for greed and profit sake.
but yeah, we have rules and laws with moving goal posts that confuse everyone. 18 is kind of messing up a lot of things in society. if MORE people fell in love, and sex from 16 to 18, got married, had a kid and loved them, and had responsibilites, they might even be more FAMILY oriented and respect their elders, and work to help them, rather than working for more money, raises, nicer crap, beating the other guy.... it would be a whole different shift of focus.
