Now marks five years since IMDB shut down the boards

I think today is the exact anniversary, yes?

IMO things have never been the same since then. Yeah, this site is okay, but not nearly as active.

I guess I just didn't realize it has been a whole five years. They seemed to go by fast.

I lost many online friends when they shut down those boards. Most people never matriculated over to here. Sad.

I still stumble across my old IMDb posts here now and then and see the time stamps on them. 5 years indeed. Never been the same since. That was a great community. They were getting so ridiculous with the ban hammer toward the end, i'm not sure it would have been worth using even if it stuck around.
