So my two favourite stores, Cinema 1 and the Beat Goes on, had Boxing Day sales today. At the Beat Goes on, everything was 40 % off and at Cinema 1, Criterion dvds were on sale. I picked up:
Ingrid Bergman's Swedish years Criterion dvd box set
La Bete Humaine Criterion dvd
By Brakhage: An Anthology Volume 1 Criterion dvd set

Damn Allaby! This is some serious gourmet shit! Usually, me and Vince would be happy with some Arrow or Media Blasters, but he springs this serious Criterion gourmet shit on us! What flavor is this?
I currently own 19 Criterion Collection Blu-rays or DVDs, Allaby.
I'm sure that that's not nearly as much as you, Oh Bearded Wonder, but I like them anyway.

Oh yeah, as far as Film Purchases go, I just ordered a two film multipack (two or more films in one package) from Amazon ...
Top Gun (1986) w/ Top Gun: Maverick (2022) - Blu-ray
This now brings my total up to 46 DVDs or Blu-rays in 17 store-bought multipacks.
Very impressive list, Allaby.
I am very glad that I looked through your entire list because I realized that I do not own 14 Criterion releases, I own 19.
Therefore, I have updated my previous list to include the five that I had missed.
Btw, I also own eight films on your Criterion list in just regular release format.
They are ...
Spartacus (1960) - Blu-ray
It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963) - DVD (my parents took me and my brother to see this on my 12th birthday)

So as repayment for your suggestion of Mulholland Drive (2001), I would like to suggest that you pick up ...
Walkabout (1971), Tess (1979) and Local Hero (1983), if you don't already own them.
All three are excellent films.
Stage Fright (1950)
Film Noir Dark Side of Cinema volume IX (includes Lady on a Train, Tangier, and Take One False Step)
Film Noir Dark Side of Cinema volume XI (includes A Woman’s Vengeance, I Was a Shoplifter, Behind the High Wall)
I don't buy physical media. I learned early on that technology will evolve and you'll have to update your entire media collection every few years as new formats become the standard. I realized that you can bypass all of this by simply having all your media in digital format archived on a hard drive. You download your movies and TV shows in HD or Ultra HD format and you never have to worry about replacing your media.
Also, it might be difficult to find everything in physical format. However, if your collection is in digital format, MP4, MKV, AVI, then you can find any movie you can think of online for free, assuming you know where to look. If you are lucky enough to find a good source, you can get anything you desire in the highest quality. This is the smartest way to go.
