Is there ever a day when you'd be comfortable with a gay feature film romance?

It depends on how it is done. If they are just going to preach and virtue signal than no, forget it.

I would say no. I rarely like romance movies as it is. But a heterosexual one at least provides a relatable situation for me, along with a beautiful woman to look at, and a male for me to project on to.

A gay romance movie, replaces something that is at least relatable, with something I really don’t want to see I a genre that I already don’t like.

To be clear though, I’m not against these movies being made, but I am not the target audience.

I'm about as liberal and accepting as you'll find for a guy my age, but I will admit I avoid going to a multiple screen cinema if I learn there might be a gay themed film playing in one of the theaters. I don't want people to think that's why I'm there.
