Okay, so what's with the racial emojis?

They're classed by color:

Pale Emojis, Cream White Emojis, Brown Emojis, Dark Brown Emojis and Black Emojis.

Why the heavy emphasis on gradation by skin color? Is this really necessary? It's a bit bizarre.

I like the yellow ones, because they don't depict any race. They're just "sunshiney" yellow.

Exactly. Get rid of all that brown, black, pale white, off white, creamy white junk and use one neutral yellow emoji which represents all.
