shareNot a Christmas song. It's about a breakup that happens to occur around the holiday. One of the lamest songs ever written. I wish radio stations would permanently remove this from their playlists.

shareSorry, not trying sound like Scrooge, but there's nothing about the holiday in this song. Change the title to "Last April" or "Last Summer" or whatever and it doesn't change the tone at all. So what if there are sleigh bells added to the background? There's nothing at all festive about it.
I could never understand why this was popular in 1984 and can't fathom why this is still being requested almost four decades later. It's just another song that gets overplayed.
