Dexter vs. Breaking Bad.
This is a tough fight...but for me Dexter.

Breaking Bad stayed strong for most of the series, despite Skylar White being an obnoxious whore and terrible wife and Marie Schrader getting NO payoff on her kleptomaniac storyline...Aside from that stuff it was pretty excellent

I think it was far more even in it’s quality throughout the show and came to a more satisfying end.
I recommend Breaking Bad. I've seen Breaking Bad two or three times. Breaking Bad usually makes the top ten shows of all time lists and it's deserving of its high rankings. The protagonists are breaking the law by making meth but the show does a good of showing the dark side and the risks that go along with illegal drugs.
I was weirded out by Dexter after two or three episodes. The show humanized a serial killer who only killed the bad people and the details of how to kill someone and dispose of the body was a bit much for me.
