would you ever build a panic room?
i hope not
sharemy friend had one in the house he moved in as a teen it was pretty rad. had no windows pretty decent sized room that was opened by pulling on a dresser in that room to open the secret door
shareA room to go to in case of a home invasion - yes. A bunker to sit out Armageddon - no thanks. I have no desire to survive that, if it ever happens.
shareI've always wanted a house with secret passageways. When I was about 9, our school took us to a local house where James II hid from Cromwell during the civil war. There were hidden and passages and priest holes all around the place. I thought it was fantastic!
On a peculiar note, James II escaped, not by hiding in a secret passage, but by hiding in the oak tree on the front lawn 🤷🏻♀️
If I had people invading my house with the intent to kill me I'd probably want to unleash my inner John Rambo the way he took out the trash at the end of Rambo Last Blood.
