What do you think of wearing suits casually?

Or at least just polo

I like seeing old photos of people dressed up.

It wasn't "dressing up" back then. It was just the way people dressed.

It looked classy in my opinion. I can't imagine these days however, wearing a suit every day. Unless I'm an attorney or an executive.

I think modern suits are quite bland. Now suits worn 100+ years ago had lots of style.

People actually used to do that all the time, hence why in times past, there were different kinds of suits for different occasions. It just fell out of style over the decades. I think the last time people wore suits all the time was in the 1960s, maybe the 70s.

The move from business suits to business casual took hold in the mid-1980s.

What really looks stupid to me is seeing younger sportscasters and sports analysts wearing business suits with neckties... and sport shoes! Put on dress shoes, if you are wearing a suit!

I'm looking at this right now on the NFL Network, after the Miami Dolphins upset the Balimore Ravens 22-10 on Thursday Night Football in Florida. Michael Irvin is the oldest analyst there. He's the only one wearing leather dress shoes with his suit.

They probably have shoe contracts, and are paid to wear those shoes by the companies using slave labor in Communist China or under Chinese control.

The look doesn’t suit me.

I see what you did there 🤣

Wear whatever makes you happy. I wear women's underwear at all times because my skin is too delicate for tighty whities or boxers

I like the idea of wearing a suit but it's just not practical for me. Too fucking hot in Brisbane, even in winter I wouldn't want to wear a suit during the day.

Ask Bond, .... James Bond.
