I just watched “Christmas at Coyote Creek” when I realised that they used that same plot in about 50 films before lol I mean they are an easy watch when you are bored but do you think they care about how noticeable it is that they recycle the same story lines again and again and again for their films ? Hallmark really makes the movie equivalent of fast food!
shareAbout the only thing they get right is making sure every house is filled with bright Christmas lights and decor. The stories are always boring and repetitive. I don't even attempt to watch them anymore.i would rather rewatch The Bishop's Wife or Little Women ('49 and '94 versions) or Fanny and Alexander rather than waste my time on Hallmark or Lifetime garbage. I have seen some truly awful Christmas TV movies over the years.

However I do know that it is a cash cow. The formula = $$$. Hallmark has successfully cracked the female code and gives them what they want.
The channels ratings are impressive for cable.
With more women in the work force, the soap opera is pretty much dead. But the need for love drama is still exists... enter The Hallmark channel.

I've been a fan for a long time now. You just pick movies you like based on the stars or if the plot sounds interesting to you.
