White Gold or the Inbetweeners(British version)
Not my all time favourites but very funny.

reply

Haven't heard of White Gold so will give it a try.

Seen all the Inbetweeners. Was a good show but not worth a 2nd watch, imho.

reply

Let me know what you think if you do watch white gold.
Also you could try Gavin and Stacey, but you've probably seen that.

reply

Never seen Gavin & Stacey. I did just watch a 'best of' compilation on youtube and switched it off after 4 mins as I didn't find any of it funny at all. Not my sort of humour.

Mine is more Mrs Brown's Boys, Life's Too Short and Pheonix Nights type humour.

reply

Oh ok, I'm totally different to you then I don't find Mrs Brown's boys funny at all.
Everyone to the own.

reply

Not even a little?

reply

No not really.

Picket Fences

reply

That one has been on my 'to watch' list for a few years but I keep forgetting to watch it. Thanks for the reminder.

Band Of Brothers

From The Earth To The Moon

reply

I've started watching Band Of Brothers twice but got interrupted both times during ep1 and didn't finish it off. Thanks for the suggestions.

Depends what you're in the mood for and you're personal taste.

Six Feet Under or Mad Men are probably the right answers generally.
Parks & Recreation is good if you want comedy.
Smallville is the best for nostalgia - but again, that depends on age and preference. For all I know, the old MacGyver is more your thing. Maybe not at all

reply

Already rewatched Six Feet Under a couple of times. Found Mad Men boring after a couple of seasons.

Never been into Superman so I doubt I would like Smallville. I'll look out for P&R.

I tend to like the weird, mind-bending or things that make you think type shows.

reply

Fair, taste is subjective. But I feel like shows like that don't really last.

reply

The Sopranos
Oz
NYPD Blue
Auf Wiedersehen Pet
Spaced
I'm Alan Partridge

reply

Oz is worth a rewatch. Great show.

Sopranos was good but not something I would watch a second time.

reply

The Leathal Weapon series, The Blade trilogy, The Dirty Harry collection.
