It happened 3 times for me today. One of them had a decent topic that even I agreed with, but didn't want to bother in case they started with their usual numbskullery.

There's no real comparison. I've always been upfront about being occasionally abrasive, even combative with certain posters, but I challenge you to go through my posting history and find the word "hate" as often as it comes up in yours, when it comes to other people. And btw, you've never once tried to refute me when I've referred to you as a "misanthrope"!
