I wish there was more movie talk... I get tired of the gossip and trivia, and I don't like putting people on ignore, but the good posts get buried, so sometimes I have to. It would be nice if there were more movie thread ideas, as opposed to the simple stuff (which I have posted) like "Favorite thrillers" or "Top 10 Movies Ever?"
It’s unfair but my main dislike about this place is that its not IMDB :( which is unfair because it is the closet place to IMDB on the web as far as I know. IMDB had so many users that no matter which random obscure, 1980’s, b movie crap I just watched, if I went on the board there there would be someone talking about it.
Movie chat is awesome, dont get me wrong, theres just not enough people doing that, they all seem to be in the general boards talking about dumb crap or trying to stir up some sort of controversy.
IMDB message boards toward the end was full of a lot of spamming shit, trivial, gossip, etc.... However, because they shut down the message boards, we've had more than a couple of new, great movie boards, each with their own personality, and could still improve. It's still early, but we can change this and set new established norms by creating MOVIE posts...
Can you share those boards? Which is the most active?
