I wish there was more movie talk... I get tired of the gossip and trivia, and I don't like putting people on ignore, but the good posts get buried, so sometimes I have to. It would be nice if there were more movie thread ideas, as opposed to the simple stuff (which I have posted) like "Favorite thrillers" or "Top 10 Movies Ever?"
Well there really haven't been that many new movies to discuss the past 15 months and even TV was somewhat interrupted by Covid, so I think everyone was simply coming up with some off the wall topics as a distraction.
new movies are not that good anyway, in my opinion.

Manhunter appears to be cancelled, I've not heard anything about a new Stranger Things season and what the hell happened to Peaky Blinders?
1, lack of movie and tv chat
2, Trolling whether it be SJW or non political
3, old plain looking format
4, why do some historical figures have a IMDB page?

shareWhat about posters who generally use the General board to seek attention through divisive topics that belong on the Politics board, like Intothenight/Jason46/TheMan18?
shareI interpret that rule ("No politics on the GD board") literally and only enforce it when threads discuss political parties, candidates or public officials. That is generally not going to include all matters of public policy, or other topics that might be viewed as divisive.

You can't even use your original name to post! I once posted something, "Movie Question", and got absolutely nothing.
This place has enough people - just not enough movie conversation. I try my best to come up with an interesting movie thread idea, and urged Allaby to do the same, and within hours, he had 50 replies, so we have the people, just not enough people creating posts related to movies. I wish you'd do more - I'll respond.
