Is it rude to feed someone "weed laced" brownies without their consent in your opinion?

Basically awhile ago, my cousin told me an instance where he fed his friends a bit (obviously not an insane dosage, but still) of "weed brownies" without their knowing. They aren't weed smokers at all, so it's not like your every day prank. Even though weed is harmless, would you consider this rude, in a way? Or basically a harmless joke since weed itself doesn't necessarily cause any harm?

I have my own opinion, but just curious to see what others might think (and if you're curious what I think, I think it's a tiny bit fucked up, considering they may or may not have had their own moral beliefs towards the plant, but worse things can definitely be done).

What about feeding friends with poppy cake or poppy seeded bread (assume a high enough quantity and variety of poppy seeds for the opiates to be significant)?

It IS a form of rape (your favorite creepy topic), you numb scull. It’s taking power over someone(s) else without permission. You post too many topics that suggest you need some help. Please find a social worker.

EDIT: I was responding to the OP who wrote something like, “Gee, you all are responding like I’m talking about rape.” In true coward fashion, he deleted him bitty post.

It's beyond rude, it's dangerous, and undoubtedly illegal most places.

What happens if the poor schmuck who unknowingly ate the weed brownies gets pulled over, and ends up jailed on a DUI or in an accident because they didn't realize they were impaired? What if an impaired person fucks up at work the next morning, and loses their job because of your little joke? Or if one of the people eating the brownies has been trying to quit drugs, and you just fucked up their hard-won sobriety? What if one of the brownie-eater has to submit to and pass random drug tests, to keep their job or see their kids?

Seriously, it's a totally fucked-up evil thing to do.

I AM ALL ABOUT MY WEED...I SMOKE A LITTLE WHEN I WAKE UP AND A LITTLE BEFORE BED...AND A LOT IN BETWEEN...IT'S BOTH MEDICINAL IN MY CASE AS WELL AS FUN...I DO NOT DO EDIBLES OF ANY KIND THOUGH...WEED TASTES LIKE SHIT AND IT CAN'T BE COVERED UP WITH CHOCOLATE OR ANYTHING ELSE.

I've never done weed or smoked a joint ever in my life. Not even in high school or college. I have no interest in it. I also live in Canada where it became legal a couple of years ago.

Just not my jam.

THAT'S COOL...IT SURE IS MY JAM THOUGH...I STOPPED DRINKING AFTER I DISCOVERED POT..HAVENT HAD A DRINK IN NEARLY 20 YEARS....WEED AND I JUST CLICK...OF COURSE I HAVE ADHD AND OCD AND THE WEED WORKS FOR ME BOTH MEDICINALLY AND RECREATIONALLY.

Weed is psychoactive and lacing anyone's food with a psychoactive substance without their knowlege is illegal and is a crime. It's a little like poisoning them. They could have a bad reaction. Taken orally marijuana has been known to induce paranoia.
