I had the AstraZenica one yesterday and the man told me that my arm would really hurt for a few days. He said it a couple of times as if to emphasise the point.
It doesn't hurt at all. Just feels like a bruise if I touch it. I've felt very tired but that's all (so far).
What were your experiences in the days after you had yours?
Second shot of Moderna 4 days ago. Had some arm soreness for a few days with both shots.

Barely noticeable soreness about the injection site on the arm. Fatigue/tiredness built gradually but surely and by 9 or 10 PM I was so tired it was all I could do to undress for bed. I blew off brushing my teeth. As dead tired as I was, I. Just. Could. Not. Sleep. I felt tense, and my legs twitched. Every time I tried to relax to sleep I could feel myself tensing up. Pulse beating fast as though I just did 50 push-ups. Frequent desire to urinate, very thirsty but nausea about my gut made it hard to drink enough water to quench my thirst. As hours went by, only very brief fitful lapses of sleep. Around 6AM felt hot: hair wet, shirt wet. Changed shirt, changed pillow, stood under living room ceiling fan to evaporate the sweat. 6:30 AM, felt mild chills. Heart rate lowered but still higher than it should be at rest. Slept soundly the next 7 hours till early afternoon. Felt gradually better. Showered and mowed the lawn, but I sweat like it was 100 degrees and muggy. Checked my temperature: 101 and change. Re-showered and took it easy. Slept fantastic the next night.
Woke the next day feeling great.
I'm glad it passed. I was getting worried in the top half of your post! At least you don't need a second jab. I wonder if that's what made it worse? Pleased you are alright now 👍

I had a little sore spot on my arm after the second dose, and I felt really tired for a couple of days.
But there were a lot of reasons I could have been really tired at that point, so the only side effect I can definitely report is a little sore spot that lasted a couple of days.
I’ve had both injections of the Pfizer vaccine and only felt a little off for a day after the 1st shot and slightly sore arm. Nothing to complain about.

shareI got the Pfizer. When I woke up the morning after my 2nd dose, I felt like I'd been hit by a bus. A sore arm was the least of my worries. I hurt all over, but especially my joints. I had a fever of 101, fatigue, headache, and chills. Fortunately, no nausea or vomiting. The side effects lasted only a day, except for the chills which hung on for a couple more days.
My three adult children have all had their 2nd shots and none of them had anything beyond a sore arm. I don't know which vaccine they got, though.
This coming Thursday I shall receive my second Pfizer vaccination.
I had absolutely no side effects following my first shot, but then again, as soon as I got home I made the ultimate cure-all.
Yup, I made some chicken soup. ;-)
Pfizer, first shot felt like I’d been punched in the arm for about a week, second shot nothing. No other side effects.
