YouTube pet peeves

-Overly long opening logo. Why do I have to stare at this for five seconds?
-Overly long introduction. Get to the point!
-Long-windiness. You made your point, move on!
-Asking me to subscribe and "hit the bell" in ALL your videos.

Yours?

I hate clickbait-y titles from my favorite Youtubers. Random Youtubers, I don't care. I just don't click them. But if it was from my longtime favorites, I'm torn. I don't want to click it, but also want to click it at the same time. Annoying af!

Pranksters who mistakenly find themselves humorous.

The "Sovereign Citizens" or "First Amendment Auditors"

They don't think of themselves as pranksters, but they are so dumb (while at the same time think themselves supremely intelligent) that it is endlessly entertaining.

I often use youtube for "how to" videos on programming , or car repair.

putting aside the other issues of a "get to the point!" type nature
the worst thing is when they are too scared to put their own voice on to explain the "thing"
and expect you to follow by looking at pictures and the odd subtitle or arrow.

Sure that can work for something incredibly simple and a picture says a thousand words,
but a picture *and * words is even better.
the minimum in fact imo

EXPLAIN THE TUTORIAL ALREADY I KNOW WHAT I'M HERE FOR.. I CLICKED REMEMBER?

A "how to" video, in addition to the ones mentioned above by moviechatterer, are the exercise ones. Show me the damn exercise instead of spending half the video talking about yourself, or theory, or motivation.

Robot voices! Just narrate the damn video with your own voice!
