George Clooney. He was a TV star and made a bunch of bad movies but they kept giving him roles.
Ryan Reynolds. Another TV star who people used didn't seem to like and I felt like he was being forced upon us.
I'm surprised studios were willing to keep giving Ryan Reynolds a chance to make it. Before Deadpool, he starred in a succession of flops. He was best known for Van Wilder, a film that came out way back in 2002. He somehow managed to survive The Green Lantern disaster that was supposed to propel him into the big time. I've never understood the appeal of him. He's very smug.
