7. Annie Hall (1977)
8. My Dinner with Andre (1981)
9. Rushmore (1998)
10. Isle of Dogs (2018)

reply

"Nashville" is my 2nd favorite movie, and I've seen it almost 5 times, but I can't remember much humor... Can you clue me in?

reply

It's not really outright funny, but there is a somewhat humorous undercurrent to some of the scenes. Imdb lists it as a comedy, so I counted it as a comedy, even though personally I consider it more of a musical drama.

reply

I'll tell you one thing I just remembered that was funny... The black guy who calls the black country singer names, asking him if he wants milk, but that "original black guy" is only dating WHITE women.

"Can't get enough of toilet paper in the bra" is more pathetic.... The last shot of her is amazing. I think reality finally hit her, and she has a look that reads, "I can't sing, and I don't want this shit anyway"

P.S. - It's actually my #3

reply

Some unusual picks; Singin' in the Rain is one of my favourite films, but I would’ve put it under musicals, rather than comedy.

reply

Let it Ride
Three Amigos
Trading Places
Vacation
Clue
Happy Gilmore
Ace Ventura
Revenge of the nerds
Beverly hills cop
Heavyweights

reply

All good picks.
