shareI live in Victoria, Australia where our capital is Melbourne. Melbourne has been voted most livable city (yes that really is a thing) many times and frankly, I don't see it. It makes me scared about how bad some other cities must be if we have won it so many times.
Anyway, my point is, these lists might not be that accurate.
Well from a Sydney-sider’s viewpoint, I lived in Melbourne for a few years and I can totally see it. Great city, easy to get around, nice people, fantastic food and live music scene and leafy, attractive suburbs. Sydney is where my heart is but I loved Melbourne and always think it’s “liveable” status is well deserved.
