I’ve had one of the toughest years of my life, and that’s got nothing to do with the pandemic. Just one disaster after another, so I do feel your pain. I still love life though, there’s beauty and wonder in even the smallest of things. You just need to block the sadness out and enjoy the little things xx

shareTry taking a chance? Do things you've always wanted to do. Try to enjoy today, even if there are consequences later on (nothing too crazy, unless you're at a certain stage).. If you can, watch a great movie, listen to great music. Laughter is the best medicine, do you like stand-up?

Personally, I've pretty much given up, and just doing the bare minimum to have my own place. After x amount of years, you realize what is possible and impossible, the hope goes away, you get less energy with age, and life gets fucking old. The disappointments can be too much, at least for me.

shareDo not do it please although this year is really unpleasant . We all just get one chance to live, let's us make the best of it. It is clear that we all have bad moments or we are angry (at work for example), but there is nothing that a good book, movie or to chat with friends ( or here) can not amend.

The reason why I post this is because I have a hard time enjoying another board I frequent (a video game message board.) I'm such a obsessed nerd that I get triggered over things that wouldn't trigger most other people.
I'm not going to give up on life yet. I apologize and deeply regret for making you all worry. I'll try to make the best of life, like you guys said.

As a life long sufferer of anxiety and depression I'd suggest having a chat with your doctor before thing escalate beyond control. Medication may seem daunting but it helps. I wouldn't be here without it. You may need to try a few different types before you find the one that helps but it's worth the try.
It isn't too serious - at least I hope it isn't. I think my obsessive personality could be the problem. I just wanted to let out some steam I guess. I do have a therapist.
