The Travis Bickle character is much more compelling for me, a study of the effects of a isolated man with no purpose and his slow decent into madness.

I just felt sorry for Sonny, who was partnered with a guy who thought Wyoming is a country and had fat hysterical wife who couldn't stop talking. Good movie though.

Dog Day Afternoon

Dog Day had me on the edge of my seat.
the ending gets me every time.. you know it's coming and you kinda want 'em to get away

Taxi Driver, thanks to Paul Schrader's amazing script. I also like how it focuses on just one guy. But I also like "Dog Day Afternoon" very much.
