It may not be lesser known, but have you seen "Dead Alive (Braindead)"? Peter Jackson directed it and it will fill your horror comedy needs.

reply

Oh yes! Saw it this year for the first time. Rated it 8.5/10. Also loved bad taste

added housebound and re-animator.
Little evil is on netflix, might check it out.
Did not expect to get one with Jack Nicholson, thats cool

reply

I present to you 2004’s Dead and Breakfast.

reply

nice!

reply

You’ve seen it?

reply

no but it'S in line with what im looking for

reply

If you haven't seen it already, don't sleep on The Monster Squad (1987). It's a fun, kid-friendly horror comedy with some great creature effects and plenty of laughs.

reply

it's on my amazon wishlist. waiting for price to drop

reply

Didn't you say that you had Prime? If you do, it's on Prime in Canada.

reply

I canceld my suscription when I saw I had to pay for certain movies. Only watched Child play (2019) on prime and it was not worth the price.

reply

Yeah, Prime can be frustrating that way, but I do find that they have a lot of movies and tv shows to watch that are included. There is also a lot of crap to wade through.

What We Do In The Shadows

reply

This is in my top 10 best comedies ever.

reply

I’ve never seen it before. If you rate it that high I will look it up.

reply

I saw it in the theatre. Hilarious! The tv show is really good too.

reply

Attack of the Lederhosen zombies (2016)

Lots of other ones that I like have been mentioned already, but not this one that I can see.

reply

it looks quite silly but If i stumble upon it I'll watch it

reply

Sure....we chose it at random, gave it a go and were pleasantly entertained.

reply

Some that I didn't see mentioned

Eating Raoul (1982) not sure it counts as a horror
Cooties (2014)
Parents (1989)
The Love Witch (2016)
Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon (2006)
Severance (2006)
Dead Snow (2009)
Aaah! Zombies! (2007) - loses steam in the middle, but a fun concept

reply

Cooties was already on my list. Im actually doubting if I already seen it. I knew about dead snow too.
Parents, loved witch, behind the mask, severence are now on my list.
Added Severence on my amazon wishlist
