The number one song in the world is 100% porn (WAP Cardi B)

It takes a lot for a song to make me say “that shouldn’t be played on the radio” bit this one SHOULDNT be played on radio.

Because it’s basically porn as a song, it can be uncomfortable trying to drive with these lyrics running through my head.

What do you think? 6 weeks at number one in Australia. Number one in US and global charts.

I've never heard of it but I have heard of Cardi B.

Haha that is AWESOME! I haven't listened to anything current in over a decade (I am usually a decade or so behind the loop) but knowing the top song today is called wet a$$ puSSy puts a smile on my face.

I love that this is what teens are listening to. I always thought the younger crowd was wussified but this gives me hope. At least their music is raw and nasty.

Lol

Now go read the lyrics of pretty much any song by Infant Annihilator and tell me how you feel. 🤣🤣🤣

"Global charts" are bollocks. Literally nobody knows Cardi B songs here in Asia. Number 1 song in the world my ass.

reply

You live in Asia??! Had no idea.

reply

I do. My wife is a Taiwanese.

Billboard #1 songs decades past this week (USA)

2010 Teenage Dream~ Katy Perry

2000 Music~ Madonna

1990 (Can't Live Without Your) Love and Affection ~ Nelson

1980 Upside Down ~ Diana Ross

1970 Ain't No Mountain High Enough ~ Diana Ross

1960 My Heart Has A Mind of it's Own ~ Connie Frances

Every title sounds like innuendo (except "Music" of course).

reply

What would the pop music industry be like w/o sex?

I've only heard of the Diana Ross songs.

reply

I truly don't understand what happened to music. My daughter turns on the radio and it's always someone singing to some synthesizer beat with the same generic lyrics repeated a thousand times.

I'm old, I get it. But what happened to actual bands? What happened to actual lyrics that mean something? What happened to a nice melody?

reply

I know, it's sad. Hopefully bands will have a resurgence again like they did in the mid 2000s.

reply

I agree. Beginning to sound bitter and old but this is hardly music. Where's the musical element in any of this?

reply

What does "wet and gushy" mean?
