One thing I can't stand is hearing a fully-grown adult (who knows better) deliberately mispronouncing words or using baby-talk, thinking they're being funny or clever.

Example: "It's lunchtime. I'm gonna go get me a sammich." The word is sandwich! And the sentence should be, "I'm going to go and get myself a sandwich."
