Trailers that gave away too much?

Was there ever a film where you felt like the trailer gave away too much of the plot...to the point where you would have found the film more entertaining if you had skipped the trailer?

Room (2015) was one recently. I had read the book, but I was so annoyed that the trailer showed the last bits of the story. There was no anticipation of what was going to happen.

Regardless, is it something that needs to be shown in the trailer? I think they even showed the how in the trailer.

When I went to the cinema, after the trailers, we'd always say, 'Well, we don't need to bother seeing it now'.
