Do you like 90's music?
Me I really liked the early 90's music a lot, unfortunately sometime around 1996 when "Macarena" became a hit was when music really started to go downhill, I consider 1990-95 to best years of 90's music.

shareI appreciate it MUCH more now then at the time. I started to lose interest in the Billboard Hot 100 around 1988. There were a couple dozen 90s songs I really liked, but as a whole I just wasn't into 90s music. Listening via the "What are you all listening to?" thread makes me realize that 90s music was much better than I thought at the time.
shareI felt 90's music (especially from 1994 onward) didn't have as many Top 10 singles like the early 90's did which made me question the quality of music, I thought the early 90's was far more diverse.
sharea great decade for music and movies

You honestly think that? I always thought your taste was more vintage. Lol
shareI like how most 90s bands started with the. The pearl jam...
shareOf course!! Don't need to ask me that question twice lol. That's my favorite decade ever. I also love early-mid 00s music. It wasn't until 2009ish that music started to go downhill for me.
In elementary school, my older cousins would constantly blast 90s music so it grew on me quickly.
My CD I ever purchased was Britney Spears (Baby one more time).
I’m a bit of a self proclaimed EDM expert and in my opinion 1990 - 1996 produced the most amazing tracks of the genre.
shareHouse in the early 90's was off the roof. Even some of the edm more pop stuff like KMS was sweet. I really love epic trance and in my view the best years of this were 98-03 but you could hear hints of it in the mid 90s.
As for 90's music in general imo it's not as good as the 80's as a whole but a bunch of my favorite songs of all time are from the 90s.
I can find music from any decade on from the 50's I love, but most of it is definitely from the 80's and 90s, though I might say the 70's owns the best pure rock.
If you have a list of your favorite 90’s trace tracks I would to look them over. I know there are so many I’m overlooking.
I know one thing, those Florida Breaks peaked in 95’. 😀
I think most of my favorite trance is from 99-03, which is when I was deep into raves.
But a few from the 90s/early 00s that come to mind are Reaching Into My Brain (not sure who it's by), The Forgotten Dream by Iching (one of two of my foat), Memories of the Light by Planisphere (another foat, go for the long 12 minute version ), Everyday by Agnelli & Nelson, and dont make fun of me but I love Castles in the Sky.
As for breaks, pretty much anything by Infiniti! His remixes are all amazing!
I know what you mean by loving the time period you were in the scene. That era seems like the birth of real uplifting tracks with lots of female vocals. My time frame is 90-96. I collect it all on vinyl now and when I get home later I’ll thumb through and list some of my favorite tracks and see if you remember them.
Oh, I have Castles in the Sky on 12”. 👍
