Disagree about Plan 9. Tried to watch it once...not fun...so bad it's...bad.

reply

Agree. Just plain bad.

reply

Plan 9 for sure. If you treat it as a comedy going in you get great laughs. It’s so bad it’s good that it has a cult following.

My best friend is a vampire. I have a ton of guilty pleasure movies like this, but this one came to mind for some reason.

The Room is king of all movies that are so bad they're actually good.

Mother, May I Sleep with Danger is the queen of all tv movies that are so bad they're actually good.

reply

The room 2019 right. I have it on my list, but I can't get it unless I subscribe to the Shutter channel. I may do that.

reply

Obviously I mean the Tommy Wiseau classic from 2004!

reply

Well the 2019 sounds good too. A room that grants unlimited wishes😊

reply

The 2004 version is unavailable to stream anywhere, including even Youtube. I guess it must be really really bad.

reply

It's awful...Awfully great!

reply

Anyway, how's your sex life?

reply

The Core (2003)

The premise of this movie is ridiculous but it's so much fun to watch.

reply

Dune (1984)

I don't consider it a bad movie but I guess a lot of people do.I think it is worth watching for the interesting cast and great sets.

reply

It seems most of the negative talk about Dune comes from people who are purists to the book. For those who can overlook its many departures from the original writing the only other naysayers I can think of are those who find it too complex. Their inability to understand the movie doesn't mean it's a bad movie, IMHO.

reply

Come on now. With scenes like this it was hilariously bad:

Worth watching for Francesca Annis and the great Siân Phillips

But I know what you mean about precocious kids in film. There was one in Game of Thrones, Lyanna Mormont, the 10-year-old head of House Mormont of Bear Island. Sometimes when she talked like an adult is was quite the groaner.

reply

Have you seen Francesca Annis in ' Wives and Daughters ' (1999) ? Great performance and a great mini-series if you like Period Drama.

reply

I like Period Drama--I think you and I are the resident Upstairs, Downstairs fans here.

Not familiar with Wives and Daughters...I'll check it out, I also like Iain Glen and Michael Gambon

reply

Can you believe that's Alicia Witt as Paul's sister?

reply

Sharknado franchise - all classics!

reply

Good Call. Love those.

reply

They’re what popcorn was invented for 🍿

Hudson Hawk
Howard The Duck
Sleepwalkers

reply

Those are all awesome!
well,
The Hawk - definately good
Howard the duck - The book is better (its great!) becasue you arnt actually lookimng at a talking duck , which helps
Sleepwalkers . I've got it on vhs somewhere , the person who l;ent it me must've thought it was good. hmm, maybe he was just gwtting rid of it ...

reply

Of course they’re good - I love them but they are objectively terrible films.
