What is the GREATEST guitar riff of all-time?

My vote-

(I can't get no) Satisfaction

Keith Richards was asked how he came up with the unique riff, said he woke up from a dream, wrote down the chords, and went back to sleep... when he woke up he had forgotten all about it...like finding gold.

I've always loved the riff from "St. Vitus' Dance" by Black Sabbath. And the riff starts right away.

The Rolling Stones: Time Waits For No One - https://youtu.be/YsH2In5r2sM
Mick Taylor was fantastic throughout the song, but his riff starting at 3:23 and continuing to the end is just incredible.
Yup, there's a reason why The Stones have never played this song live in concert.
Perfection can't be duplicated!

P.S. Nicky Hopkins was effin' great on the piano as well.

Tony Thompson on drums. It's a shame that Led Zep thing didn't stick for him. And he died young too.

And of course with Chic; wow, what a rhythm section that was with Bernard Edwards!

The Powerstation were named after the studio they recorded in, which lent itself to that big drum sound. We’re gradually losing all the greats.

Brian May, best guitarist! 😍

Brighton Rock
March of the Black Queen
Keep Yourself Alive
Innuendo (with help from Steve Howe)
Flick of the Wrist
Procession/Father To Son
Seven Seas of Rhye
It's Late
Killer Queen

Just to name a few.

Speaking of Steve Howe, I'll add Starship Trooper by Yes.
Edit: Let's not forget Heart of the Sunrise by Yes!!
