Hey! This kid's alright!!

So many classic self deprecating one-liners...

“My psychiatrist told me I was crazy and I said I want a second opinion. He said okay, you’re ugly too.”

“My wife and I were happy for 20 years. Then we met.”

“When I was a kid my parents moved a lot, but I always found them.”

“I was so ugly my mother used to feed me with a sling shot.”

“I could tell my parents hated me. My bath toys were a toaster and a radio.”

👍

reply

He was tops!

Other comedians still talk about what a lovable crazy man he was

reply

He was a character for sure.

reply

Great list.

reply

Norm and Rodney 10/10

That Sebastion Montoskalkow guy is pretty damn funny (I didn't spell that name right but who the hell could?)

reply

I liked the Seinfeld TV show! I saw every episode.

reply

I'm a big fan of the show. I saw Jerry perform once--around 2008. He was great.

reply

I'm rewatching the whole series this month
Might be the funniest show ever (along with All In The Family)

I like his laid back style and the booze and cigar props. Kind of reminds me of Dean Martin (yeah, now I'm really dating myself, lol). Plus, there's that famous catchphrase, "You cain't fix stupid!"

COMEDY IS DEAD.

reply

I’m not sure COMEDY is DEAD, but it sure takes a lot to make me laugh and there’s not much out there...I do miss Hedberg, Burr occasionally has some rants that are good, Silverman hits every now and then for me...I keep hearing about Chris D’elia, maybe I’ll check him out....

Murphy, Rock, Pryor, Kinison, Carlin...Hicks had some good stuff...

reply

GOOD PICKS...BURR,SILVERMAN...I LIKE DAVID CROSS TOO...ANYONE I LOVE IN THE FIELD HAS PASSED ON SADLY THOUGH.

reply

I love how at seemingly every David Cross special I've seen (which is just his 2 most recent)
there are always offended Christians that walk out. It just makes it even funnier!

reply

All three of those guys are legends! But comedy isn't dead there is just more available to watch now so it seems watered down
