Why would somebody like to be named 'Winterbottom'. That's like asking to be nicknamed 'Icy Ass' Max 😁
shareInteresting question. When I was in the fifth grade, our teacher was out because she had surgery. We had several substitutes. One of them was passing the time before the bell rang and asked us questions.
One question was , "What name would you use if you were an actor/actress?"
Some kids were stumped, but I said 'Karen Holiday'. I liked the first name and I guess I had seen Judy Holliday in an old movie on TV and the name stuck in my mind.
To this day, she's still one of my favorite actresses.
It's a funny old-timey name which people would remember.
It sounds like a Harry Potter character.
