Favorite fish to eat?
My favorite is probably flounder or sole.

shareWhatever the fish in fish and chips is, typically cod. After that I agree that I like flounder or sole best.
shareI've read 90% of fish and chip places actually serve dogfish, a species of small shark that is fished in the New England area of the US. Way cheaper than cod.

Honestly, I think they would make a decent eating fish since they are described as having "a lean white meat with a sweet, mild flavor and a fairly firm texture." Problem is, they aren't worth the fishermens time and effort to catch them because they aren't worth much. What is caught is usually just by-catch while fishing for cod and haddock.

Nothing is better than walleye
