What to do while stuck in the house.
Just cleaned and reorganized my freezer. Stacked everything by size and food category. Lots more room in there now.

shareI had a new washer delivered today. There is an outside entrance to our basement,(where my hookups are located), so the delivery men didn't have to come into my living area and I didn't go down while they were there.
So, this is the most excitement I have right now - doing laundry.
Mr Neighbor just came over and helped clear the drain that my washer drains into. Two days ago when I did a load I ended up with a pond in the basement. No harm done, thankfully. Pleasures of living in a 94-year-old house. But Mr Neighbor and I got it running clear again - delightful job, by the way - so more laundry is on the menu. What a relief that I didn't need to call a $plumber$. Yep, I get the excitement of being able to do laundry again.
shareSo funny - I bought the washer two weeks ago and today was the first day I could have it delivered. My old washer was dead, so last weekend I did 3 loads of laundry at my son's house, but I told my husband after that to wear his clothes as long as possible so I didn't have tons of laundry to do when the new washer came. I told my friend about this and she said she hoped I least changed my underware. LOL
shareUnderwear is why I was joking about the inability to do laundry with Mr Neighbor, although I described it as "essentials." You can fake some things, but not clean underwear! Yes, Mr and Mrs Neighbor are godsends!
shareWatch movies!
shareA PSA: Creativity is Awesome!
Greetings from my doomsday bunker! Right now I'm losing my mind over how much of a blast you can have with just ideas and a few simple tools to express them. No matter who you are, your situation in life, you have total ultimate freedom to create your own world by one method or another if you dare to try. The possibilities are limitless. It's the coolest and most thrilling thing there is in all of life. All day long I'm laughing my ass off and galloping around like an idiot high on the magick of creating, and it's business as usual. Rock over London, rock on, Chicago! Wheaties β breakfast of champions!
I'm mentally digging through my craft stuff to think about what I can do during this trying time. My local craft store has expanded their online catalog, so I can order what I might be missing for any creations I come up with. They will even do "take-out" and bring it to my car if I call and let them know ahead of time.
sharea good use of your time π
shareI'm still going to work, I'm "essential", but bye-bye social life.
I'm cleaning, finishing craft projects, organizing, reading, shopping online, spending lots of time on the phone, and I'm absolutely positively assembling those IKEA shelves that have been sitting the box the last year!
