How Empty Are Your Local Stores?

I haven't visited any big-box stores or supermarkets. The convenience store on my corner has plenty of food and OTC medications. I didn't bother to check for toilet paper. A more upscale convenience store a couple of blocks away has no shortage of fresh fruit and vegetables. I didn't check for TP but the store is very well stocked with food and beverages.

No different than normal here.

I just returned from Kroger - it was busier than expected and I was there when the doors opened. I carried my own bleach wipe to do the cart handles and wipe the touch screen before paying. One guy in line wanted to get right up next to me and I asked him to step back and he was cool about it. The meat section was empty, so still no hamburger - no pancake mix either, but I know how to make that from scratch. I might do an on line order but I really can live without chili! LOL.

I'm good for at least a couple of weeks with what I have and probably longer if I'm not fussy about what I eat.

Pretty gd empty. I couldn't buy basics like milk and bread, which was all I wanted.

I live in an urban community in NYC, and the shelves at the locally owned supermarkets and grocery stores are pretty much well stocked. I did see that there were a run on eggs, but there were still enough to go around. (It was just the more popular brands that were gone.)

I did notice that the Dollar Tree was in the middle of restocking on Sunday, which is highly unusual. I saw a woman filling an entire shopping cart full of frozen meals, so that may have been the reason.

Haven't been since Saturday night. I only needed a few things but was able to get everything I needed. This time I noticed the meat section was mostly cleared out. There were still things to buy, just not much selection.

TP and paper towel aisle empty again.

Overall it wasn't well stocked but this was an hour before closing, on a weekend.

No idea now.

But it was a zoo the last time I went. I left with less than I had hoped to get.
