Uh, you know panic runs are actually increasing your chances of catching COVID-19?
Ironically, people who are making these panic runs at the supermarket and local warehouse club have actually increased their chances for exposure to the virus.

shareMakes sense as they are being in a large crowd.
I walked through a couple of Downtown Reno casinos last night, and had dinner at one of their steakhouses. The crowd seemed to be what one would expect for a Wednesday night, maybe just a little smaller. No way was it empty.
People hording toilet paper will NEVER connect the dots.
shareAfter my trip to Kroger this afternoon, I have decided I will only go late at night or very early in the morning. Crazy people. Crazy lines.
shareI work at a supermarket part time. they are asking me to work more hours : ( I am trying not to judge keeping my distance from people
whatever so I am not the most rational or educated, after work I went shopping too, came home listend to a bunch of devo , had a cry and then jerked it, i feel better
I had to make a store run so went in the early afternoon, when it should have been dead. Except it was *packed*! Since I was already there, I carried on and all was fine until I got in line.
Of all times for this to happen, I got a Close Talker in line right behind me. She tapped me on the shoulder, I turned, and before I could do anything, including closing my mouth, she said from a foot away "I don't meant to be PUSHy ..." and I actually felt the air from her breath go into my mouth! W.T.H?!
There was someone in front of me, her behind me, so I was trapped. She tried talking to me more, again WAY too close even under normal circumstances, and I held my breath and wouldn't turn around.
Jesus lady! What are you thinking? 😷
Same thing here. I was just doing a regular trip and instead found the place jam-packed with panicked shoppers. When it came time to leave, I was squeezed in by throngs of other shoppers all around me right in front of the exit and we were packed in like sardines. I wondered if the irony didn't strike anyone, that they were creating the perfect conditions for a contagion to spread but thought they were practicing due diligence by showing up at a store in huge numbers.
shareIt's really nutty. I just hope this calms down so except for normal rush hours we can do regular shopping again. Without being germed by people in checkout.
I don't think I've ever encountered a Close Talker before, but of all times to, this wasn't it.
Nope. Ain't going there.
shareI was thinking of this irony earlier today.
