A paper route

An 11 year old roaming free but had to be home by dinner time.

I spent a lot of money.
In April of that year I bought a brand new Honda Prelude for cash -- no car loan.
In September I placed a deposit on a townhouse in the West Kendall section of Miami that had just begun to be constructed.
Then I went through all the steps of getting approved for my very first mortgage.
Six months later, construction was completed, papers were signed, more money changed hands, I bought more furniture and moved in.
Thus April '83 to March '84 was a pretty exciting time for me.
